Geebamu International, Inc. solicits medical supplies and equipment to distribute to hospital and health centers in Liberia. Over the past two years, Geebamu International, Inc. has distributed mattresses, IV poles, wheelchairs, clothes, and other medical supplies to several hospitals and health centers in Liberia. We also aim to provide training and education to the local medical providers with different healthcare topics such as medical treatments and application, medication usage, use of modern medical lab technologies, and more.
From the survey that we conducted, more than 50% of deaths in hospitals in Liberia are due to a lack of proper hospital equipment and medication. We are confident that small initiatives like this will go a long way in helping to strengthen the health care system in Liberia.
