Geebamu International, Inc. supports a number of high school students through our scholarship programs. Presently, Liberia has an illiteracy rate of over 70%. This high rate of illiteracy has affected the development process of Liberia in every way.
Due to the lack of schools within the rural areas of the country, most of the educational processes are carried out in the urban areas, and are provided for children between the ages of 3 to 6 years old. In some rural areas, Geebamu International, Inc. covers the cost of teachers’ salaries and provide school supplies for students in need.
